Bringing Renewal
TO THE GREATER COLORADO SPRINGS AREA
Our Vision:
Renew Colorado Springs through Church Planting
City Renewal Comes through Church Planting
Our Mission Begins with God’s Mission: The Renewal of All Things
God created all things good. Human sin brought corruption and brokenness into his good creation, but God did not abandon what he made. In his grace, he is restoring what was broken through Jesus Christ and will one day make all things new.
God’s Strategy for Renewal: The Church
God advances this work by calling a people from the world to himself. He gathers the church to be renewed by the gospel, then sends it back into the world on mission. This is the church’s continuing rhythm: gathered for renewal and sent on mission.
The Church’s Calling: Outposts of His Kingdom
Each local church is a visible outpost of Christ’s kingdom—a community where the true King is worshiped, his grace is experienced, and people catch glimpses of the world he is making new. Through its worship, life together, and mission, the church bears witness to his good kingdom.
Renewal Spreads Through Church Planting
Healthy churches do more than embody renewal in one place. They send leaders and members to establish new kingdom outposts in new communities. Church planting intentionally carries the renewing hope of the gospel into new neighborhoods, cities, and cultures—to the ends of the earth.
